GALEN JOSEPH PERRETT (American, 1875-1949) “BREAKING ROLLER”. Oil on wood panel coastal scene shows a large single wave breaking towards coastal rock ledge. The wave is seen in shades of blue, green and white under a nice colorful sky of light blue, white and lavender. Signed lower left. Housed in what appears to be its original carved gilt double frame with glass front. Old label on reverse with title, artist and location-Rockport, Mass. SIZE: 8″ x 10″. CONDITION: Minor touch-up.
