ALFRED DUBUCAND (French 1828-1894) “HUNTING IN THE SAHARA”. Outstanding large figural bronze group with great action and quality. A running camel having a Bedouin atop holding a gun on his back and raising his right arm. Two greyhound type dogs are running beside the camel through a naturalistic ground with plants. Signed in the base “Dubucand”. Fabulous brown patina with gold highlights. SIZE: 18″ h x 18″ l x 8″ d. CONDITION: Very good. Bridal lose. 9-25188 (8,000-12,000)
