ATTRIBUTED TO ALSON SKINNER CLARK (American, 1876-1949) “COURTYARD IN GIVERNY, FRANCE”. Oil on canvas French street scene shows courtyard with central flowering tree. Three different buildings surround the courtyard with wagon in foreground. Signed lower left “Alson Clark 09”. Housed in a replacement gilt frame with linen liner. Attached to stretcher is an early Vose Galleries label with artist and title “French Inn 1909”. SIZE: 24” x 20”. CONDITION: Good. Heavy varnish is seen on sections of the painting. 9-25485 (6,000-8,000)
