FLORIS VAN ACKER (BELGIAN, 1858 – 1947) DAY DREAMS. Oil on canvas summer/spring scene shows a woman with traditional lowlands costume having wooden shoes, country dress and white bonnet. She sits next to a small pool of water, lined with flowers and field with trees. Next to her is a jug and kettle. Titled in Dutch bottom left, signed bottom right. Housed in a fine carved wood gilt frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 19″ X 25-1/4″. CONDITION: Restored with inpainting. Relined. 9-99844 (2,500-4,000)
