LOT OF THREE MECHANICAL BANKS. 1) Kyser & Rex organ bank depicts a monkey on top of an organ flanked by a cat and dog. When coin is put on monkey’s tray and organ is cranked it plays a chime, monkey tips hat and tray releases coin into bank. Key present. 2) Judd Mfg. Co. dog on turn table bank depicts a Victorian brick house with two archways and when bank is cranked a dog emerges from house with tray in mouth and coin is placed on tray. When dog reappears, tray is empty and coin is deposited. 3) J. & E. Stevens Co. cabin bank which depicts a black man standing in doorway; when coin is placed on roof of cabin, a lever is released and black man flips and deposits coin in roof of bank. SIZE: Largest is 7-1/2″ h. CONDITION: 1) Bank is lacking most of its finish to sides and base. Gold is over-painted and there is a crack on top of organ. 2) Bank is in good plus original condition. 3) Bank is in good condition with wear to sides and top of cabin and a small chip out of corner of cabin roof. 1-10814-4 (400-600)
