LARGE BRONZE GERMAN PRESENTATION TWO HANDLED VASE. Bulbous shaped with two large handles with grape decoration. Base is flower form decorated with flowers and leaves. Wide mouth with tapering neck. Body is decorated with scrolls and grape clusters having front and back shaped panel, one with lion and crown, other with intertwined eagles. Writing surrounds panels in German translated as “United in Our Hatred of the Wasting of Our Beloved Fatherland. Confident that Our Struggles Will Keep Us From Harm in the Strength of Our Righteousness”. Piece is unmarked and of unknown age but quite impressive. SIZE: 18” h x 14” at widest.
