LARGE KESTNER CHILD DOLL. 31” (79 cm), head incised “M. MADE IN GERMANY 16. J.D.K. 215”. Brown glass sleep eyes, lower painted lashes, remnants of upper silk lashes, slotted “fur” eyebrows, open mouth with 4 upper teeth. On original fully jointed pink body stamped in red “Germany 6-1/2”. Wearing original light brown mohair wig over plaster pate. Wearing old white cotton and lace dress with later white leather child shoes. CONDITION: Quality of bisque very good. Body condition overall good but with repair to hand and 1-1/2 fingers missing. 1-4960 RS (500-600)
