SCARCE HUBLEY CAST IRON DO-X AIRPLANE. Without a doubt, one of the hardest and most difficult to find toy airplanes! This plane came in two sizes, and this is the larger of the two. The body of the plane is painted light blue, wing is red with six simulated nickel plated iron propellers on top of wing. Rear of plane is embossed “DO-X”, highlighted in gold. Also has rubber tires with red wood hubs. This scarce plane is very hard to find, and rarely offered in this condition. SIZE: 7-3/4″ l. CONDITION: Plane is in excellent plus condition with very bright colors. Rubber wheels have slight crazing, and the nickled propellers have some oxidation. A few minor nicks & dings, mainly on tail end. 1-11053 (4,000-6,000)
