ATTRIBUTED TO GEORGE BLACKIE STICKS (British, 1843-1938) PAIR OF LAKE LANDSCAPES. Oil on light cardboard round scenes show water surrounded by tall mountains, one showing a figure near low shoreline with castle above. The other with sunset, boats and figure on shore. Both signed with what appears to be conjoined “GB Sticks”. Housed in identical gesso decorated frames with gold mattes and round windows. SIZE: 5-3/4″ dia. PROVENANCE: Private Boston area collection.
