SCHOENHUT HOOD’S MILK WAGON.

SCHOENHUT HOOD’S MILK WAGON. Large wooden milk wagon with marquee on top of wagon stating “Hood’s Grade A Milk” with round decals on sides of wagon with “H.P. Hood & Sons Dairy Products” on the decal with cow in the middle. Wagon is painted black with green border at bottom. On back of wagon there is a black cloth canopy covering the back opening. Wagon sits on frame with four wood spoked wheels in red. Also accompanied by a horse on platform to pull wagon. Has original driver, which is usually missing, and a wooden crate, stamped “MILK” with 6 milk bottles. Schoenhut made a series of these carts for the Northeast and this one was sold more in the New England area. SIZE: 23″ l. CONDITION: Overall good condition with some minor wear to wagon, some red overpaint to wagons wheels. Horse missing its mane, but still retains most of its trappings. 1-10929 (1,200-1,800)
