BUDDY L BUS. One of the very desirable toys made by Buddy L in the 1920s, this bus has nice original decals and is painted green. Bus has headlamps, mounted spare tires on sides of front hood and dual wheels on rear. Also has opening front doors, a steering wheel that moves the front tires and five rows of seats. SIZE: 28-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Because these early toys were played with and then stored in damp basements, garages, sheds, barns, etc., it is hard to find nice examples of this toy. Bus is in very good condition, with the usual play wear to roof, hood, fenders, etc. Also some light rusting to bumper and fenders. 1-10256 (3,000-4,000)
