JOHN SQUADRA (American, 1932-) “SOUL BOAT”. Oil on wood panel scene shows a one-mast sailboat with man at the helm sailing right to left in an evening setting. The artist has depicted the sailboat going forward by trailing the sails movement through the wind. This is done by a series of dots and dashes which reflects the sunlight trailing the sail. A fabulous depiction of nautical movement. Signed lower right. Titled on reverse. SIZE: 24″ x 36″. PROVENANCE: Acquired directly from the artist. CONDITION: Very good. 9-21005 (2,000-4,000)
