SCARCE & DESIRABLE BUDDY L TUGBOAT. Boat is painted two shades of green; the deck and cabin of boat is painted olive green with the bottom a darker blue-green. Cabin has a search light, hand rail and smoke stack. Boat also has an unusual mechanism to propel it as well as having original “Buddy L” decals on hull and deck with one on smokestack “BL Quality Toys Navigation Company”. One of the most desirable of all Buddy L toys ever made. Greatly sought after by Buddy L collectors and boat enthusiasts alike. This particular boat did not have a long production life. SIZE: 27″ l. CONDITION: Boat retains most of its original paint, decals are very good to near excellent. There is some minor paint loss/oxidation to top of cabin.
