MAGNIFICENT BIRDSEYE MAPLE AND WALNUT TALL POST BED. Headboard has finely turned and block posts supporting a gothic style three-arch headboard with inset panels. Completely done in birdseye maple with central applied walnut rose. Applied walnut carved and molded edges in the form of scroll and flowers. Headboard suspends on side latches on posts. Footboard has similar turned posts but half size with plain footboard. Original side rails, which have been converted from rope and extended. SIZE: Length of rail is 78-3/4”. Headboard is 73” h; footboard is 44-1/2” h. Bed is 54” w. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96693 (3,000-5,000)
