GEORGE PEARSE ENNIS (American, 1884-1936) THE CONVERTED MILL. Fine watercolor shows a stone mill which appears to have been converted to a residence. A picket fence has been put across the dam and remnants of the water wheel are seen down stream. Building is framed with colorful fall foliage trees under blue sky. Signed lower right “Ennis”. Housed in a metal modern frame with linen matte. SIZE: SIGHT: 15-3/4″ x 11-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-92056 (600-800)
