LOT OF POWDER HORNS AND SHOT FLASKS. Lot consists of five powder horns ranging in size from 4-1/2″ to 9″. Undecorated, 19th Century examples. Two 3-1/2″ copper shot flasks, one missing nozzle and band, as is. 8-1/4″ leather and brass shot flask marked “3lbs” having decoration of a hunting dog on each side. Along with an 8″ leather and brass shot flask, as is. Three of the horns from Marcellus, New York; Powder horn with flat sides carried by A. A. Whitney’s uncle through Death Valley going to California gold fields. CONDITION: Generally good, as noted above. 9-91809 (250-400)
