ATTRIBUTED TO WILLIAM BRADFORD (American 1823-1892) “SAND DUNES BRADLEY BEACH NEW JERSEY 1886”. Oil on canvas beach scene shows grass covered dunes and an expanse of sandy beach. A slice of water is seen all over the shot. Signed lower right and dated 1886. Housed in a modern gilt frame with linen liner, having a Brand Library Permanent Collection label from Glendale, California. On the reverse of its relining there is written the title, which was on the original canvas. The signature does not match any known signature of Bradford’s and may have been added by the restorer. SIZE: 16-1/4″ x 20-1/4″. CONDITION: Very good, relined, with inpainting. 9-26398 (10,000-20,000)
