MINIATURE GAS-POWERED 1958 CORVETTE. Too nice to be called a go-cart, this gas-powered diminutive replica of a 1958 Corvette was featured at the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle. The whitewall tires, padded vinyl seat, Corvette logos at front and rear, and features opening driver side door, gas and brake pedals, and locking trunk with keys. Run by a Briggs & Stratton 3.5 HP engine. Car is mounted to custom checkered flag wooden platform display. This same car was shown on a recent History Channel special about the fair. A truly magnificent vehicle. SIZE: 75” l. x 29” w. x 21” h. CONDITION: Small surface crack to body at driver’s door with slight touch up to paint chip, otherwise near excellent and believed to be in good running condition though not tested. 1-5704 AT (3,500-6,500)
