STATE OF MAINE BIRDSEYE MAPLE AND BIRCH CHEST. Double drawer box top with extreme scroll backsplash having brass rosettes. Bottom section has four drawers with birdseye maple fronts and double rosette brass knobs. Turned and carved side posts under overhanging drawer with birdseye maple panel. Tall turned feet. Interesting birdseye maple band at apron. PROVENANCE: Mike and Betty Newsome, found in Washington, Maine. SIZE: 54” h x case 39-1/2” w x 18-1/4” d. CONDITION: Very good. Polished original finish.
