Grant is seen on his right pointing at the document while looking across at Stanton. Bottom with title in front also “Patented March 31, 1868 John Rogers New York” on top of base. This version shows Stanton wiping his glasses over Lincoln’s shoulder. PROVENANCE: From a coastal Maine collection. SIZE: 24” h x 15” w x 12” d.
