RICHARD FRANZ KOLLORSZ (American, 1900-1983) “PACIFIC PALISADES”. Large oil on canvas California scene shows several houses on top of a cliff-like bluff. Below is a road with driveway surrounded by colorful trees. Signed lower right “R. Kollorsz 1957”. Also inscribed on canvas on reverse “Oct. 1957 Pac. Palisades by R. Kollorsz”. Housed in what appears to be its original partial gilt and painted wood frame with green velvet accent. SIZE: 33″ x 49″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-98421 (500-1,000)
