WESLEY ELBRIDGE WEBBER (American 1841-1914) THE TRANQUIL BEACH. Outstanding large oil on canvas coastal scene shows a beach having two sailboats drawn up on sand with two figures. On the calm ocean are several sailboats with one man rowing along with two seagulls. A town can be seen in the distance on the coastline. Signed lower right.
