CASED REMINGTON TYPE I LATE PRODUCTION SUPERPOSED DERRINGER. Cal .41RF. Nickel finish with 3”bbls, two line address, with synthetic ivory grips. Accompanied an early compartmented casing that has the bottom reworked and the divider relined. Inside the lid and bottom of the case have old dark rose velvet. Contains an empty U.S. cartridge Co. box with blue label and blue band, an original Remington wood and brass for cal. 41 RF ammunition handled ramrod with jag tip and six rounds of original ammunition. SN 533. CONDITION: Very fine plus, retains 95-96% stong bright original nickel with some light freckling near the muzzle and on the right side of the frame. Hammer and locking lever retain most of their original niter blue. The right grip has a couple of cracks, otherwise they both are sound. Good mechanics, strong bright bores and scatters light pitting. Case is very fine with light scratches, retains most of an old refinish. Ammunition box is lightly faded but fine. 4-49902 JR476 (400-700)
