LOUIS PHILLIPE FRUITWOOD TALL CASE CLOCK WITH A MUSICAL FOUR-BELL MOVEMENT. Circa 1850. The cove-molded cornice above the bonnet with arched door opening to the four-bell movement with convex enamel dial framed within a stamped brass surround of classical French motif above the case fitted with a molded door, the base on a molded plinth. SIZE: 86″ h. x 19″ w. x 10″ d. CONDITION: The clock case in good condition with waxed finish and minimal old insect damage, overall good appearance. The brass works are recently cleaned, all four bells intact, craquelure to enamel dial. 9-92107 (1,600-2,000)
