CHARLES F. BLAUVELT (American, 1824-1900) DECORATING THE HAT. Charming oil on canvas scene shows young girl and boy seated in grass and white flower field next to backdrop of woods and hill. Boy has large hat in lap and they both are sticking small white flowers into hat as decoration. Signed lower right “Blauvelt”. Housed in a fine antique gesso decorated fancy frame. SIZE: 14” x 11”.
