JAMES FORD CLYMER (American, 1907-1989) CARGO SHIPS AT DOCK. Oil on masonite scene shows four cargo ships moored to dock area and boatyard in winter. Signed lower left “John Clymer”. Housed in a decorated wood frame with painted liner. Clymer was a contributor and illustrator to Saturday Evening Post prior to 1965, after which he turned his attention to western scenes. SIZE: 14″ x 19-1/2″. CONDITION: Very good with light scratches in sky. 9-98507 (2,000-3,000)
