ROULET DE CAMP RABBIT IN CABBAGE. A fur covered musical rabbit with glass eyes peering above a head of cabbage rises slowly flapping his ears and slowly revolves. Probably of 1930s vintage, an unusual feature is the blue leafs as opposed to the normal green leaves, the integral key marked “RD” and a Louis Vuitton cloth label on underside of base. At one point in time Louis Vuitton in their stores also had a section for novelties such as children’s toys and dolls. Label is marked “Louis Vuitton 70 Champs-Elysees Paris”. SIZE: Approx. 8″ h. (with rabbit receded) CONDITION: Very fine plus. 1-11122 (1,500-2,500)
