CABINET CARD PHOTOGRAPH OF CHIRICAHUA CHIEF MANGUS COLORADO. 6-1/2” x 4-1/4” cabinet card photo by Fly’s Gallery – Tombstone, Arizona Territory. A pencil inscription on the back identifies the subject as Mangus Colorado. Mangus Colorado was a chief of the Eastern Chiricahua, also known as the Warm Springs Apache whose home territory was Western New Mexico. CONDITION: Very good overall. There is a very thin crease or crack in the emulsion extending the full length of the photo near the right edge – not very noticeable. 4-50125 SO13 (1,200-1,500)
