LARGE CARETTE OPEN TOURING CAR. Circa 1910 and a popular item for Carette and remains popular among collectors today. This open touring car has molded metal simulated tufted leather seats, hand brake, and lever to reverse mechanism. Also features four lamps (2 side lamps and 2 front cowl lamps). Car is hand painted white, yellow spokes, white rubber tires, two opening passenger doors, and beveled glass windshield, driven by strong clockwork motor. SIZE: 12-3/4″ l x 6-3/4″ h. CONDITION: Enameled hand painting shows noticeable crazing, some paint chips and loss to edges and high points. Tires are soiled, but appear to be original. Head and side lamps include one original and one appropriate replacement each. Overall very good plus. 1-11115 (7,000-9,000)
