GROUP OF FINE ENGLISH TRANSFERWARE SERVING PIECES, “CHATSWORTH” PATTERN. Second half 19th century. Consisting of three graduated oval platters and an oval covered tureen with undertray, all profusely decorated with scrolling floral vinery and gilt edging. Together with an associated Burslem gravy boat of similar design in the “Nile” pattern. SIZE: Trays: 17-1/2″. 13-1/2″. 10-1/4″. Covered tureen: 4-1/2″ h. x 8-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Very fine overall, with normal wear to gilt decoration. 9-91306 (200-300)
