UNUSUAL GERMAN AIRPLANE TOY ON SPIRAL POST. Toy has two hand painted early biplanes with lithographed pilots which are attached to a spiral rod with two wooden ends. When toy is turned, top to bottom, the planes travel downward. This toy must have delighted child plane enthusiasts for hours. SIZE: 17-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Some very minor discoloration to biplanes and minor wear to wooden ends. Overall very good. 1-10948 (1,000-1,500)
