UEBELACKER PADDLE WHEEL BOAT WITH ORIGINAL BOX. Very handsome side wheeler hand enameled with brown deck and upper sides, brown canopy with red pinstripes, red hull and side paddles. Retains both decals stating “Niagara”. Under the canopy are flat lead passengers seated at a table. Boat is highlighted by gold figurehead in the form of a mermaid and two flags. Red ship’s wheel at stern turns rudder. Uebelacker used a unique windup mechanism which winds with a hand crank at the rear of the boat. Accompanied by its original box and instruction sheet. SIZE: 12-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Boat is in very good condition with significant paint flaking to hull. Box is very good with one puncture hole to one side. 1-10854 (1,000-2,000)
