FABULOUS AND RARE MARKLIN “LUZERN” CLOCKWORK LAKE BOAT. Boat is painted with simulated planking on decks and has a cream and red hull, hand painted windows, portholes, and cabin, two lifeboats, two smokestacks, four ventilators. Fancy handrail is painted gold. A strong clockwork motor and a wheel to turn the rudder. As with most Marklin boats, this boat has extra fine detail in which all other companies lack. This was the premier maker of toy boats at the turn of the century. SIZE: 20″ l. CONDITION: Although under a black light the boat appears to be all original. We feel that the boat is an early restoration. 1-10953 (8,000-12,000)
