FREDERICK JUDD WAUGH (American, 1861-1940) “MIST MOON”. Oil on canvasboard moonlit scene shows the rocky coast of Maine with waves crashing over ledge rock. A full moon is seen amongst clouds. Signed lower right “Waugh”. Housed in an outstanding replacement gilt carved frame with gilt liner branded “Richard Tobey, Los Angeles”. On foam backing is a Vallejo Gallery label and there is a cutout displaying title and Grand Central Art Galleries Exhibition label. SIZE: 25″ x 30″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-98203 (6,000-9,000)
