GREAT LAKES INDIAN BEADED RIFLE SCABBARD. Wonderful beaded scabbard of fine brain tanned velvety leather, 39-1/2” long with a flap and fringe at the toe. There are two bands of beaded black trade cloth around the middle with 2” fringe facing toward the heel. The beads are pink, blue, brown, green and red on the upper band in scallop pattern with the same color combinations, plus white and yellow, on the lower band. The open end of the scabbard is decorated with large patterns of flowers in the same colors with a band of brown velvet around the opening. CONDITION: About excellent. Some minor mothing to the black cloth and minor losses of beads at the open end of the scabbard. Colors remain strong and bright. 4-46117 JR519 (800-1,200)
