OIL ON PANEL PORTRAIT OF BUFFALO BY NOTED ARTIST FRANKLIN DULLIN BRISCOE. Theme depicts of a nicely rendered head of a buffalo in portrait format. Signed in lower right: F.D. Briscoe, 96. Briscoe was born in 1844 and died in 1903 and was known for his marine mural animal and portrait paintings. A very nicely done and with a nice Western flavor. IMAGE SIZE: 13-1/2” w x 19-1/2” h.
