ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR ARTWORK FOR FRANK CARR’S BY WILD WEST SHOW. These two very attractive original watercolors are artist renditions for what would be used to produce posters for Frank B. Carrs Wild West Show. These images depict “William Washburn Indian Maidens”, both with terrific activity depicting a colorfully attired attractive female in Indian regalia. One seated on a leaping black stallion with mate in rear drawing a bow. The other depicts a group of frolicking Indian attired attractive maids swimming and paddling a birch bark canoe. Probably late 19th or early 20th century. SIZE: One 14-1/2” x 10-1/2”, image only; the other 16” x 8” wide. CONDITION: Generally excellent. 8-87192 (3,750-4,750)
