PHOTOGRAPH OF TWO COLORADO COWBOYS IN SHOOTING POSITION. Photograph signed in lower right, “H. F. Peirson & Co, Denver, CO” depicts two cowboys in kneeling position. One is shooting a Winchester M86, the other shooting a bolt-action rifle and wearing what appears to be a Smith and Wesson revolver. In the rear stands a white horse with Winchester rifle and scabbard. The photograph is lightly signed in pencil at the top what appears to be Bucher Ranch, and beneath the photo the cowboys are identified as Capt. Stockwell and Angel Stockwell. SIZE: 7-1/2” by 4-1/2”, image only-does not include border. CONDITION: Photo slightly faded. Piece of the border is broken off, and the border is also stained. 4-50184 (300-400)
