Large panoramic oil on canvas Moosehead Lake scene shows a mountain range beside a large lake with two sailboats, the lake dotted with islands. The foreground with a fenced pasture with two cows, all under blue and white/pink clouds. The reverse of canvas having the original title and signed “SWS 1880″. Housed in a modern gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: 25″ x 45”. CONDITION: The edges are strip lined. Otherwise original canvas. Restored with inpainting. Light craquelure.
