ERIC HUDSON (American, 1864-1932) “MONHEGAN VILLAGE-MAIN STREET”. Unsigned oil on canvas Monhegan street scene shows colorful buildings lining a curving road under blue and white cloud sky. Attached to back is a signed statement stating that in 1999 Greg Rollins was hired by Eric Hudson’s daughter, Jacqueline, to clean the contents of her attic. They came across this painting which was done by her father and gifted it to Greg who in turn gifted it to his father, Stephen Rollins. Signed “Stephen Rollins June 22, 2008″. Housed in a replacement carved wood frame with gilt liner having an artist plaque. SIZE: 14″ x 20”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-98724 (4,000-6,000)
