VERY EARLY CONVERSION HOLSTER TO FIT A LUGER. Very well made holster of heavy brown saddle leather, spliced on the front and back with clamshell flap having a tool pouch inside with a spare mag pouch on the front with lifter, tab & buckle. There is evidence of old stitching on the front and back and appears to have been reworked from an earlier revolver holster. Inside the flap is dated “JR 81/1910”. A very rare holster – see page 161 in Bender’s “Luger Holsters”. CONDITION: Very fine plus. Light wear on the top of the clamshell, otherwise retains most of a high-polished brown finish. The tab is slightly dry. 4-49344 JR380 (500-800)
