UNSIGNED (European, 18th/19th Century) THE WATERING HOLE. Oil on panel detailed scene shows several people and horses at watering hole with mountains, hills and trees. Blue sky with clouds. No signature is seen and board is supported by criss-cross cradle. A central white horse is finely detailed along with man and woman. An interesting picture with a lot going on. Housed in an antique 19th Century gilt gesso decorated frame. SIZE: 10” x 13”. CONDITION: Appears to have some old restoration. Could use a cleaning. 9-94851 (800-1,200)
