RARE 26″ AETNA GOLDEN MOHAIR TEDDY BEAR. This outstanding and large American fully jointed bear dates to pre-1920 and is brimming with charm and character. He has a stitched nose, glass eyes, a quizzical expression, felt pads, and slight back hump. Unusual to find a bear so large, he has been given a paper collar (later addition) to mimic the beloved and storied Aloysius bear from the same period. SIZE: 26″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good to excellent. Slight floppiness to neck area. 1-11064 (3,000-6,000)
