DAUM NANCY CAMEO & WHEEL-CARVED VASE Very rare, unusual and desirable subject matter with a moth, spider webs and leaves. The vase is first acid-etched followed by wheel-carving to half of the leaves, the wings of the moth and the martele background within the arches at the base. The overall color in maize-yellow with several cerulean leaves shading to deep indigo at the base. Rare tapering form with triangular mouth. A superior example. Engraved signature on the side “Daum Nancy”. SIZE: 11-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-65696 (5,000-7,000)
