ATTRIBUTED TO EDOUARD ADAM (French, 1847-1929) LAND BOUND. Oil on artist board scene shows a large two mast sailing ship on dry ground with men and small boat beside it. It is alongside a white wall which has two figures atop, one with a gun over shoulder. White and gray clouds and blue sky. Signed indistinctly bottom right. A later penned artist name on reverse with date “1885”. Housed in an antique gesso decorated gilt frame. SIZE: 6″ x 8″. CONDITION: Very good, minor inpainting. 9-98206 (800-1,200)
