Oil on canvas whaling scene shows a sperm whale being harpooned by a man at the front of a green and white rowboat with five other men while the whaling ship waits in the distance. All under a blue sky with scattered clouds. Signed lower left “H Amundsen”. Housed in a decorated wood frame with gilt and linen liner. A wonderful rendered whaling scene. SIZE: 24″ x 30″.
