STEIFF CAPTAIN DOLL. A very large and impressive doll. The captain has sailor cap, glass eyes with bushy beard and hair tufts, body made of felt with jacket being black with four felt buttons and pants colored red plaid. Captain has movable arms. Doll has original Steiff button in ear. The Captain was a comic strip character of the early 1900s. SIZE: 15″ h. CONDITION: Seams slightly coming apart, fabric worn through in a few small areas, and some minor staining on hand & pants. Overall condition very good. 1-11065 (1,000-1,500)
