C. HACKER STABLE. Wooden stable is divided into two parts; one side holds the two horses with the names above stalls of Tomboy and Susette. The other part is divided for the carriages, storage etc. House is painted cream color with black painted simulated brickwork. Has three half-turn columns in the front. Base is painted black with the two windows on either side carry black trim as well. Inside of stable is painted gray with the upper portion cream. Overall the color combination is quite appealing to the eye. Stable is also open at the top. Accompanying the stable are two horses, a piece of cast iron Stevens furniture, a small hand-painted early American toy horsedrawn wagon and a Stevens tin covered pail. Part of the charm is the size of the toy which is very handleable. SIZE: 24″ l x 15″ h x 15-1/2″ d. CONDITION: Overall very good. Noticeable wear to the painted floor of right side of stable. Otherwise the usual nicks and dings that is commensurate with age. 1-10628 (400-800)
