EARLY CARVED SIDE CHAIR. 18th Century. Molded edge wood seat has a back with three carved and pierced slats suspended between two stiles that have block and vase turnings. The top finials being a scrolled leaf design. Base having bold turnings with blocks on turned round feet. Nicely turned and block stretcher. PROVENANCE: Vouzelaud Family – France/Stockton Springs, Maine. SIZE: 44-1/2” h x 19-1/2” w x 18” seat h. CONDITION: Repairs, restoration. Good. 9-71289 (150-250)
