WWI PERIOD TRUNK MARKED “AIR SERVICE U.S. ARMY” SURROUNDING AN AMERICAN RED, BLUE AND WHITE COCARD. The trunk contains a pair of aviator goggles in a cloth covered case named to Lt. H. C. Davis R.M.A. (Reserved Military Aviator). A group photograph showing Davis at the ground school at MI.T., a group of photographs taken while training in Canada and a copy of the magazine “The Call Field Stabilizer” dated December 15, 1918 which contains several photographs that include Lt. Davis. SIZE: 17”w x 30-1/2”l x 13-1/4” deep. CONDITION: Trunk is good, other items fine. 4-49352 CW6 (200-500)
